To ensure that copyright is not being violated users can always obtain permission when using original works. Using the online catalog of the Copyright office can help location records of active copyrights and registrations. Not making photocopies or reselling original works should be a method that is employed to ensure there is not violation. Understanding copyright definition and use will also help so that there are no infringements.
